Southwark Climate Day is Southwark’s annual climate conference, for residents and organisations within the borough to come together to discuss and explore local solutions to the climate emergency.

As the COVID-19 pandemic shut down London in March of 2020, a group of community members created Funnel to support existing food aid projects by gathering non-perishable foods and toiletries from people’s neighborhoods. 10 months down the line, Funnel continues to collect donations and has expanded to producing educational and advocacy material surrounding food insecurity

Love North Southwark is a community-based organisation that sprang up in response to the hardship created by the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020. Our mission is to bring food security to those in need in Southwark. We started off by providing meals and food parcels to the elderly and shielding. This has now extended to anyone who is struggling to get by, including young families, victims of domestic violence, and those living in sheltered accommodation.
