We would like to invite you to join us at the Paper Garden, an inspirational project by Global Generation. The space is a growing and educational project in Surrey Quays, the largest circular economy building in London, using over 90% reclaimed materials. The event will run 11am – 2.30pm on Saturday 14th October.

We hope you can join us to meet other community gardeners in Southwark and get involved with a new working party to discuss topics to make community gardening and food growing easier in the borough. This follows on from the Listening event in July at Red Cross garden where we heard about challenges and opportunities facing projects. Part of the event will be an update from the issues raised at Red Cross. Then there is the opportunity to discuss further one of the topics which was highlighted by attendees – green waste and composting.

There will be a talk by Ele from Butterfly Conservation about how to attract biodiversity in a garden space, from tiny spaces to larger gardens as part of their Wild Spaces campaign
